Hi Richard, We received our wedding DVD some time ago now (wedding was in August 07) but we wanted to say thanks-it was great!. We became a little worried a few days after the wedding (when things began to cool down!!), because we began to think of when we actually saw you filming and we began to ask ourselves if you got very much of the Church and reception at all!!!(and you probably know yourself-there's a lot of so-called professionals out there) But when we got the DVD - it was great. We decided at the last minute on a having a video done professionally and are both so delighted that we did do this. Photographes are lovely but they just don't capture the day the way the video does. Richard just seemed to get all the special little things in the day that we remembered but don't have photographs of and he managed to even add a few suprises to our video which we loved. It has been lovely in the last two weeks to sit down and just look at certain sections again which I think is more a girlie thing but I just adore it. Both of us would have no hesitation in recommending Richard for anyones wedding and wish him all the best in the future.

    

Richard, We just finished watching the DVD (twice). It is absolutely amazing, better than we thought a wedding video could be! I'm glad I changed my mind and got a video made because without it the memories of our big day just wouldn't be complete. Our photographs were great but just weren't enough. I e-mailed Richard to thank him for the great job he did on our wedding video and then spoke to him on the phone because I wanted to buy extra copies of our DVD. I offered to leave a testimonial here since I was so happy with his work. I don't have much to say except that you will not regret it if you choose Richard. He was so nice even before our wedding, very helpful and professional. He was on time all day long, we hardly noticed him and he was still able to produce a top-class video. The highlights at the end of the video made my husband cry (don't tell him I told you) and that is quite an achievement! The highlights are particularly nice because whenever I don't feel like watching the entire video, I can re-live the best day of my life in 5 minutes and again I am speechless. Richard at one point during our big day I said to Stephen that you didn't seem to be doing anything. I knew I had made the right choice based on your work but you didn't seem to be filming a lot, in fact I hardly saw you at all on the day although I knew you were there. When we watched the DVD last week we both just said "Wow!"  There is so much detail and emotion to every section of the DVD. You got all the small things that I didn't even see on the day myself. Our candle, our cake, the champagne, the head table!!and the details that matter that we never would have been able to see again if it weren't for the masterpiece you made for us. The quality of the DVD is great, thank you.

We recently got married and have just got our DVD. Our videographer was Richard from Bride and Groom films. On the day, and even on the lead up to the wedding he was so nice and friendly and easy to deal with and easy to talk to.  On the actual day he was fantastic i never really noticed him, he was very professional and very helpful. I was so nervous thinking about the DVD as i hate video cameras and stuff like that but after watching it, i have to say it was the best money we spent. I could sit and watch it over and over again. After all you spend so much time and money on this day and you put soo much effort into it, its great to have it all captured, especially after coming home after the HM and your on such a downer, its so great to relive it all over again. Also the DVD was just shot so well, its really beautiful and professional. Richard really did an excellent job, it could'nt of been done better. So if any of you B2B have Richard as your videographer you are in good hands.   And if some of you havent decided on your videographer then you should definitely consider Bride and Groom Films, i couldn't recommend them more.

Where do I start? I can't rate Richard highly enough, he was brilliant to deal with from start to finish. We're based in the west and I was a bit iffy about getting someone so far away, speaking to Richard put my mind at ease. He couldnt be more helpful and I have to say I genuinely didnt notice him filimg yet he captured some of the moments that I didn't get to see on the day. The quality of the sound and colour really is second to none. We both consider this the best money we spent on the day.  We had Richard Finlay of Bride and Groom Films and he was fab - very unobtrusive on the day, but he still managed to pick up on all the important moments. I think the big difference between having it done professionally and having friends video it for you is in the editing. We watched the DVD over and over when we first got it, and it really brought back all the excitment of the day, and there's some really cute bits that the best of photographers couldn't get.  I wouldn't say I watch it as much now, but it's definitely one of the first things I would rescue if the house were on fire (even before the wedding photo's)!

Hi Richard,   THANKS A MILLION for our wedding video, I couldn't be happier with it.   The video is absolutely fantastic, and as promised it was indeed worth the wait. As I'm sure you can imagine, we had forgotten bits and pieces of the day so it was the best thing to be able to relive it all (and without the ridiculous nerves this time!) - particularly the speeches, which of course we only remembered piecemeal. I have to say it was highly amusing to sit back in comfort and watch, first hand, the lads nerves during the speeches - priceless - I hadn't realised just how nervous they were.   I was really surprised at how thorough it is, how complete - nothing of the day is missing, which of course is what I hoped for but somehow didn't expect to the level of the video. I'm SO pleased I can't tell you. My only regret about the entire thing is that I didn't go the whole hog and get you to stay for the entire time because the rest of the night was brilliant craic and there were some priceless moments that should definitely have been caught on tape (not sure if that would even have been an option).   On the actual day, I was pleasantly surprised not to notice the camera at all really. Not having done this before we were weary that there would be lights and cables and mikes and such like but I am delighted to say it couldn't have been further from that idea.   Thanks again for capturing our day so well and so completely - I would highly recommend you to others as it is definitely one wedding bill that was worth every last penny - you just can't buy those memories.

Having watched close friends and relatives getting married in the past few years one of the things that always stood out afterwards was the sub standard quality of their wedding DVD.  With these concerns foremost in our minds, we approached the selection of our videographer with genuine care. We had Richard film our wedding and all I can say is WOW!  He did such an amazing job that in the few days since we recieved our DVD my husband and I have watched it at every opportunity.  We booked Richard back in 2007 and in the interlude between then and the wedding we never once doubted our choice, he was professional and friendly at every turn.  On the day he arrived early and got straight to work taking time only to introduce himself to my family and make aquaintance with our kids, especially our youngest who was quite shy on the day.  By the time we were leaving for the church she was his new best friend and smiled and posed happily for him.  I have to say that is the last time I noticed Richard until much later in the evening when we were getting ready for dancing, such is his discrete manner.   He worked away and was barely noticed even by our guests who remarked at his lovely manner and unobtrusivness. I can not tell you how much that meant to me as I am one of those people who hates to feel "on show" when attending a wedding.  Now that the DVD is here I can honestly say that I am amazed he was not more noticeable on the day as he didn't miss one second of the action.  There is so much of the day that we missed as Bride and Groom getting photos taken and mixing with our guests but our DVD makes it possible to see our day thru the eyes of our guests and really captures the atmosphere of the day.    I would recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone who wants a friendly professional who will do a great job without being in peoples faces on the day!  Thank you Richard...you did an amazing job and I look forward to wacthing our DVD over and over !

      

Hi Richard,   Just wanted to send you a quick mail to say thank so much for recording our wedding last Friday in Brooklodge..we just cant wait to see the DVD as we had everything that day, the fun, laughter, the weather & the perfect venue with our friends & family.   We really appreciate you looking after us at such short notice. You were a perfect addition to our wedding, very unassuming & a totally gentleman, that was very mush appreciated & noted,  so thank you!!   Anyway, better log off as heading off to mauritius (as you do) in the morning, but again thank you from the bottom of our hearts & we'll be in touch re the music etc on our return.

Hi Richard, Louise here, sorry I missed you earlier Im in work and couldnt answer. Sorry I havent got in touch sooner. We couldn't be happier with our DVD. I actually cant stress enough how happy we are. We are so grateful to you for capturing everything so well there was floods of tears from everyone!!! And plenty of laughter too because you caught the funniest parts of the day too. We were all amazed by the DVD and seriously cant thank you enough. We'll have the memory of our day, captured in the most beautiful way, forever. And that means the world to us!! We are so Grateful Richard Thank you so much from both of us.
