Terms of Agreement

A non-refundable deposit of €300 is to be paid when booking in order to secure the wedding date. The balance is payable on or before the day of the wedding. The client may cancel the contract at any time prior to the event by giving written notice to the Videographer. The Videographer shall be granted full artistic licence by the client, and the Videographer’s judgement regarding filming and editing shall be deemed correct unless previously discussed and agreed with the client prior to the event. If there’s anything you want filmed specifically, then you must let us know before the wedding day. If Guest Messages are a part of your chosen package, you realise that your bridal party/guests are sometimes not willing to speak, and therefore Bride & Groom Films cannot be held responsible if Guest Messages are not obtained, or a limited number of them are obtained (for any reason beyond the videographer’s control).

The Videographer may use extracts from your wedding film for promotional purposes, unless it is expressly stated, in writing, that the couple does not want him to do so. In return, the videographer/editor will use any such footage in good faith and in good taste. If additional editing changes are required for any reason, and if it is possible to do so, extra editing charges will be incurred. The Videographer must be notified within 10 working days from receipt of DVDs. Bride & Groom Films cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged in the post. We can make extra copies of wedding DVDs but cannot replace other valuable items that you supply to us. We accept no responsibility if a third party stops us from filming in a particular area or stops us from recording sound correctly (incl. ceremony music).

The due performance of this contract is subject to alteration or cancellation by the Videographer owing to any cause beyond his control. In the unlikely event of failure of the equipment or ancillary accessories, or cancellation of the contract by the Videographer for any reason, liability shall be limited to a full and complete refund of all monies paid. Bride & Groom Films cannot be held responsible for traffic delays. Under any and all circumstances, Bride & Groom Films liability is limited to a refund of the deposit. If your wedding is unable to fit on one DVD for reasons of length, we may have to split your wedding over 2 DVDs (to maintain full quality). There would be no extra charge for this.

Bride & Groom Films will endeavour to get your DVDs to you as soon as possible, but it may take 4 – 12 weeks at peak times to receive them, depending on the time of year and complexity of editing, unforeseen delays etc. It’s impossible to guarantee a specific date for when they will be ready. You agree not to make/allow unauthorised copies of DVDs that you receive from Bride & Groom Films. If you have received a DVD from us that does not work, it is advisable to check it on another DVD player before contacting us. If it is our DVD that is not functioning, we will replace it/them free of charge. Not all DVDs are compatible with all brands of DVD players. Our DVD format is DVD-R PAL. Return of a deposit means you agree to these Terms of Agreement, with or without a signature on this booking form.
