In order to view Full High Definition content you will need a FULL High Definition Television (HDTV 1080p).  A "HD Ready" TV is not capable of displaying full High Definition (unless it is a 1080p TV).  You will also need a Blu-Ray DVD Player (a PlayStation 3 will play Blu-Ray DVDs) and a HDMI cable to connect the player to the TV.
